"Building stronger communities through landscaping, mentorship, and care that lasts."

Transforming Yards. Growing Future.
Mission
A community where young people thrive, every yard feels cared for, and neighborhoods grow stronger because people invest in each other. A cleaner, greener, more connected place we’re all proud to call home.
Vision
To strengthen neighborhoods through quality landscaping and hands-on youth mentorship; creating cleaner blocks, real opportunities, and community pride with every project.
Our Story

Community Roots Landscaping grew out of something simple: a father and son who cared about their neighborhood and believed their work could mean something. When Joe and his son Jordan started taking care of yards on their block, they noticed something bigger happening... What started as two people showing up with tools quickly became a way to lift up the places they loved.
It wasn’t long before their work caught on. Neighbors saw the difference, not just in cleaner yards, but in the way the community felt. Word spread, and before they knew it, Joe and Jordan were turning what they did for their neighbors into a small business built on trust, fairness, and heart.
But the real turning point came when local youth started asking questions:
“Can I come help?”
“Can you show me how to do that?”
“Are you hiring?”
Joe and Jordan didn’t just say yes, they leaned into it. They realized that landscaping wasn’t just about mowing lawns or cutting branches. It was a chance to teach young people real skills, real responsibility, and real confidence. It was a way to give them something steady, something positive, and something they could be proud of.
Today, Community Roots is more than a landscaping company, it’s a place where youth learn the trade, earn experience, and take part in building up their own community. You can see their effort in every space they touch: cleaner blocks, greener yards, and neighborhoods that feel cared for.
This isn’t just work for us.
This is purpose.
This is growth.
This is community... from the ground up!
